Kannapolis

Welcome to Kannapolis, NC! We’re heading to northern Cabarrus County now. Kannapolis was originally built as a mill town serving the famous textile business, Cannon Mills. While Cannon has long since closed, the charm of all those little mill houses remains. Kannapolis boasts a revitalized, pedestrian friendly main street downtown with the renovated Gem Theatre, Dale Earnhardt Tribute, and Kannapolis CannonBallers baseball stadium. The current revitalization project is still underway, so be sure to stop by and see all this historic town has to offer!
